Danna Bailey

Danna is a communications strategist, market researcher, and steady hand when things get messy — and she’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves when the doing needs, well, doing. She helps organizations bring clarity to complex work and align teams around shared goals.

She led the launch of EPB Fiber Optics, crafting the brand and communications strategy that helped Chattanooga’s community-owned network earn over 50% market share and become a national model for broadband. As Vice President of Corporate Communications, she worked across departments and with the community to position EPB as a platform for innovation and public good.

Since then, she’s helped launch the Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative, led communications for Qubitekk (now IonQ), and built the first communications function at U.S. Xpress to support its IPO and brand transformation.

Danna is known for asking questions, listening intently, navigating complexity with calm, and helping people move from idea to execution — even when no one technically reports to her.

She serves as a trustee of the Bobby Stone Foundation and held past board roles at Girls Preparatory School, Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga, and Junior Achievement. She was part of the first Chattanooga cohort of the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program.
