Effie Rustand

Effie is the Project Director at Little Things Lab. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she also studied drawing—a foundation that continues to shape how she thinks, communicates, and solves design problems.

Over the years, Effie's work has expanded beyond interiors to include public art, environmental graphics, wayfinding, murals, creative engagement, and placemaking. She has collaborated with business owners, architects, artists, and municipalities on projects ranging from commercial interiors to community-driven public spaces.

Effie believes the best design comes from understanding the people it's meant to serve. Her process begins with listening, asking thoughtful questions, and making intentional decisions that create spaces with lasting impact.
